Meet the sextuplets . . .

Here they are! Cherry, Nantucket Red, Loden, Turquoise, Teal and Bark! All six of them arrived today via the very nice UPS guy.

Back in January, my friend and fellow fiber lover, gifted me some knitting funds. As you can see, I've been sitting on them for a while now. After knitting my first pair of socks out of the Cherry Tree Hill Potluck yarn, I knew I'd found a very special sock yarn. Having experimented and been frustrated by trying to match patterns on self-patterning yarn, I had been keeping an eye out for some solid yarn that I might be able to venture into some of the pretty stitch patterns in Sensational Knitted Socks and Vintage Socks.

In the meantime, I have finished the first sock of the Cherry Tree Hill African Grey yarn. I cast on a began the ribbing for the cuff just this morning. I was beginning to get a little worried. Several days ago I finished the first sock and I was afraid I was coming down with a case of "second sock syndrome."

Toodles.
